This nature insipred koi pond was seamlessly cut into the courtyard patio of this Rancho Santa Fe estate.  Using flat slate on one side of the pond enables the homeowner to enjoy their pond and koi fish up close. Thoughtful design allowed for the pond to vanish under the existing conrete sidewalk, as if it were part of the plan all along.

Custom Koi Pond Design

San Diego Ponds came up with the concept and completed construction of this 15 by 10 foot koi pond.  Brown and tan stone ranging in size from 12 -- 24 inches in diameter were used to give edge of pond a natural look along back side. Same stone was used to create two cascades falling from 24 inches high and flowing into this Rancho Santa Fe pond.
